With its high-modulus, powerful semi-parabolic action 12ft rod blank, this PikePro rod is ideal for casting baits significant distances, yet forgiving enough to avoid tearing the hooks out of soft baits.

To even further enhance the distance range you can cast with this predator rod, PikePro recommend the use of a braided mainline such as the PikePro Main Line Braid, as the diameter will allow you to cast further as there will be  less friction on the braid as it goes through the rod rings. Another advantage of using braid at long ranges is that as there is little/no stretch in braid, it is great for sensitive bite indication and improved hook setting.

Fitted with a total lock screw reel seat perfect for even big pit style fishing reels and double-leg low-profile SiC rings throughout, including a 16mm anti-wrap tip, ideal for heavy braided lines. Also fitted with a super grade cork handle with a subtle marker rig incorporated on this handle. No corner has been cut in providing top of the range components that set this pike fishing rod apart from the rest
