Constructed from a mix of high and low modulus carbon fibre, this rod is an exercise in balance. High modulus carbon fibre has been much celebrated of late, but Harrison firmly believes that a mix of high and low is the only way to stop premature lock-up and gives a perfect intermediate between the rigidity of high modulus fibre and the flexibility you need from a quality carp rod.The Torrix TE is finished with a woven 1k carbon finish on the butt, which is much more than just cosmetic. 1k carbon adds durability to the rod without adding additional weight, making it the perfect material for such a high performance carp rod. Harrison has revealed that in product development it experimented with a 1k finish all the way to the rod tip, but never one to sacrifice performance for aesthetics, the 1k finish reaches to the joint at the tip. Harrison is very proud that its rods are designed, tested, and manufactured in the UK.
