The Drennan Whip Rigs have been designed specifically for whip fishing, which is the easiest and quickest way to catch large numbers of small to medium sized fish. These dedicated rigs have been hand tied to match the range of Drennan Vertex Whips, and are ready to use straight out of the packet.

Available in three sizes; 3m, 4m and 5m to match with the Drennan Vertex Whips, each whip rig features a different size pole float which makes fishing with the rig easy as you have enough weight on the rig to flick the rig out. Each pole rig features the Drennan Carp 7 Pole Float which has a visible hollow bristle, so you can dot it down to a pimple whilst still seeing it, but is also plenty sensitive enough to register shy bites from roach or crucian carp. Drennan have tied the rest of this rig to 4lb mainline to a 3lb hook length with a size 16 Drennan Barbless Silverfish Pellet Hook, which makes them ideal for a wide range of fishing bait such as maggots, casters, pellets and sweetcorn. These fishing rigs feature a combination of olivette and dropper shotting patterns which helps aid casting and reduces tangles. It also helps get the bait down quicker to feeding fish, helping speed up the fish catching process. A must have addition to any anglers coarse fishing tackle.
