Dave Harrell No.1 Bolo Float
Â
The Dave Harrell No.1 Bolo Float has been designed for use in deep water on rivers, usually with a long rod approach. Similar in design to a large pole float, the shape of these bolo floats makes them easy to control on flowing water. Ideal for fishing with a variety of baits from maggots to pellets and luncheon meat.
The tip of these bolo floats is extremely visible, even in low light conditions or when fishing at distance, so you are able to dot these river floats to a pimple and still be able to see them at the end of your swim. The hollow tip on these bolo floats is also incredibly buoyant, so it allows you to fish over depth without submerging the float, great for catching bigger fish such as chub and barbel. Dave Harrell has used a strong carbon stem on these fishing floats for maximum strength and also to prevent any tables when fishing deeper swims with longer lengths of line. The body construction of these floats also makes them incredibly strong and durable. Dave Harrell recommends as a general rule of thumbs with bolo floats to add 1g of a lot for every three feet of water, so in a swim that is around a 12ft deep, the swim should therefore be tackled with a 4g float. Available in sizes from 3g to 6g, the Dave Harrell No.1 Bolo Float is a must have addition to any anglers coarse fishing tackle.
