The Daiwa 23 TDR Distance 25 QD Distance Feeder Reel has been designed to allow you to cast distances that were not achievable before. With the boom in feeder fishing and the need to cast further distances to reach the fish, this reel has been designed to cast distance and will deliver all that with ease and more.

This feeder fishing reel from Daiwa features a 25mm Shallow LC Long Cast spool that not only offers effortless line release due to the reduced compression of your fishing line on the spool but also assists in the balancing act between retrieval speed and winding power. The twin lip on this feeder fishing reel will generate the minimal level on your fishing line whether it is monofilament or braided fishing line, to maintain even line travel off the spool but lets it flow as freely as possible to maximise your casting distance. The combination of the mini big pit fishing reel profile and geared down ratio of 4.7:1 it still cranks backs just short of 1m per turn of the reel. Despite the size of the reel, it is still extremely lightweight so it can perfectly match to a feeder rod thanks to the use of a Zaion reel body and rotor.

QD (quick drag) also features on this Daiwa reel which makes it quick and easy to adjust the drag and tension when playing a fish. A great advantage when playing large fish allowing you to react quickly to powerful runs. This Daiwa Fishing Reel also uses Digigear II technology which ensures a smooth delivery of power when playing fish minimising the chance of hook pulls or line breakages. This Digigear II system also gives you the power to reel back even large feeders with ease. To give you full confidence when casting distances, this feeder fishing reel utilises the unique air bail system and twist buster which will prevent tangles from occurring on the cast or when retrieving allowing you to use this feeder fishing reel to its full potential.

For all feeder anglers, when casting at distance, accuracy is essential so with the unique HIP line clip on this Daiwa 23 TDR Distance Reel, allows you to fish the same spot every time, without worry of your fishing line being damaged in the clip. For anglers who particularly fish a lot of match fishing competitions, the need to swap from monofilament to a braided fishing line is essential, so this feeder fishing reel is supplied with two spools, a shallow spool which is perfect for monofilament fishing line and a super shallow spool for braided fishing line (Braid 135m – 0.12mm).
